URBAN FARMING COMING TO REGENT PARK

As I walked through Regent Park this morning I was excited to see all the community activity. People were out creating  gardens. Busy over turning the grass, mixing the heavy clay soil, with top soil by the bag load, and planting flowers and vegetables. The garbage and debris are being cleared away and  replaced with crops of tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and more.

Independently financed,  I can’t help but wonder if there is not someone with a big truck, who could lend a hand, and donate a load of top soil.
